What is Animal Guard?
The official description tells you to avoid Animal Guards on the egg trip. Each zone's eggs are watched by a guardian. After you claim an egg, that guard chases you toward the Farm. Speed is the stat that decides the chase. If the guard catches you, the egg is lost before you can place it. No damage number, detection range, or named guard roster is published. Fighting the guard is not described as the loop.

How do you get Animal Guard?
Guards are already in the zones. You meet one by taking an egg there.
How do you use Animal Guard?
Raise Speed on the green buttons near your base, then take eggs from a zone you can leave. Do not use more Power as a substitute for the return.
